JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Dozens of educators across Jackson Public Schools (JPS) were honored during a retirement ceremony on Thursday.
JPS Superintendent Dr. Errick Greene said it’s important to highlight their years of service to the district.
“It’s just important for us to take a moment to celebrate them, acknowledge their years of service, and to let them know how much they’ve meant to us and the impact that they’ve had on many children and families and communities and field of education,” Greene said.
