JACKSON, Miss. (WMC) – A newly signed Mississippi law would allow courts to try minors under 18 as adults who commit violent crimes with a firearm, increases penalties for selling stolen firearms, and increases the penalty for firing into a crowd of people.
Mississippi Senate Bill 2710 has been signed by Governor Tate Reeves and goes into effect on July 1.
