JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The community is invited to eat, play, and help send local students to a national stage. The Ridgeland High School Culinary Department is hosting its “Back to School” Food Festival this Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ridgeland High School football field. It serves as a fundraiser to send 15 talented culinary students to a prestigious cooking competition in Orlando, Florida, next April.
