Former Prentiss City Clerk Dana “Missy” Jones was sentenced Friday morning at the Jefferson Davis County Courthouse by Judge Prentiss Harrell.
Jones pleaded guilty to one county of embezzlement. She was sentenced to 20 years to serve in prison in Rankin County.
Judge Harrell also ordered Jones to pay restitution of $638,720.76 to the Town of Prentiss, $12,800 to the Run For The Roses committee, $12,327.46 to the State Auditor’s Office and all costs of court…
