No Jackson-area restaurants or other food facilities received failing health inspection grades during the latest reporting period from the Mississippi State Department of Health.
A review of the state’s inspection database found no Grade C inspections in District V, which covers the Jackson metropolitan area of Hinds, Madison and Rankin counties, for inspections conducted between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31. A Grade C is considered a failing inspection and is issued when inspectors identify violations that cannot be immediately corrected.
Calls to the MSDH seeking comment for this story were not immediately returned.
