JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Jackson city councilman says new metrics need to be put in place for Police Chief RaShall Brackney, after he says some 30 officers have left the department in the last five months.
On Friday, Brackney was questioned by council members, including Ward 1 Councilman Ashby Foote, who asked about the sworn number of officers in the department.
Brackney said there were 208 sworn officers, but only 130 patrol officers…
