JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A beloved childcare center in Jackson has provided quality care to Jackson’s children for generations. Due to dwindling funds, the Bethlehem Center could face closure.
“When they cut all the child care vouchers for children, some parents, low income parents, homeless and different teenagers, they get vouchers from from the State Department and the vouchers started getting cut,” said Shornita Shavers, the assistant director at the Bethlehem Center.
They once received funding from various Methodist churches, but now they’re left with no choice to start a GoFundMe…
