JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Nevada man has 60 days to demolish an abandoned shopping center on Northview Drive or face up to 90 days in jail.
On Thursday, Jackson Environmental Court Judge Jeffrey Reynolds ordered Karan Hoss to tear down and clean up the former shopping center at 4001 Northview, saying the property is dilapidated and dangerous.
Reynolds has suspended the jail sentence, giving Hoss 30 days to apply for a demolition permit, and another 60 days after the approval of the permit to demolish the structure…
