JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Jackson police arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting at the Texaco gas station on Medgar Evers Boulevard.
Officer Sam Brown said Corneill Hughes was arrested on Woodrow Wilson Avenue on Wednesday, January 24. He has been charged with murder.
JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – A man died during a shooting at a Jackson gas station Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened at the Texaco on Medgar Evers Boulevard around 5:00 a.m.
Man found stabbed to death outside Jackson apartment complex
Police said the victim was shot multiple times at the location. They believe the man was shot during a fight. The Hinds County coroner identified the victim as Rodger Fulgham, 47.
Deputy Chief Sequerna Banks said detectives obtained surveillance video of the suspect, and they’re working to identify the man.
