CANTON, Miss. – The city of Canton is preparing for possible flooding, as the rain doesn’t appear to be going anywhere in the next few days. The city has had a long history of flooding when it rains, causing the ditches to fill up and overflow onto the streets. When it floods, homes are damaged and families are displaced.
