JACKSON, Miss. – A 76-year-old man convicted in a 2022 killing at a Jackson motel has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. Clyde Hawkins pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder in the Jan. 4, 2022 death of 20-year-old Diamond Ducksworth Graham. Prosecutors said Graham’s body was found in the parking lot of the Economy Inn on West Northsdie Drive. Hawkins was a guest at the motel.
