Court reverses conviction in Anthony Fox case

Mardis was arrested on October 7, 2022, by Flowood police after brutally beating his wife.

He apologized in court on Tuesday.

“I went to be with my family. Nothing like this will ever happened again. I’ve made changes a lot. I never denied what I did. I owned it day one because I knew I did it, and I knew it was wrong. I think about it every night before I go to bed. I wish I had done things different,” Mardis said.
