JACKSON, Miss. – A former Jackson police officer acquitted of culpable negligence manslaughter by the state court of appeals is a free man. Merrida Coxwell, the attorney for Anthony Fox, confirmed that Fox was released Wednesday from the Madison County Jail, where he was being held for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
