Jackson chief open to charging parents if their kids use guns to commit violent crimes

JACKSON, Miss. – Jackson’s police chief said he’s open to charging parents of juveniles and teenagers who use guns to commit violent crimes. Chief Joseph Wade made the comments this week as investigators search for a 16-year-old accused of shooting and killing someone Thursday night and police arrested a 15-year-old in connection with a Sunday night fatal shooting.
