First Alert Forecast: The potential for a few strong storms remains Sunday night before we return to a dry stretch this week

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Tonight: A First Alert Weather Day remains in place as strong storms will continue to push through this evening. These will bring the potential for damaging wind, large hail, and a few tornadoes. A Tornado Watch will remain in effect until 1am Monday morning. There will still be the possibility of a few rogue storms to develop behind this main line of storms throughout tonight, so make sure to stay weather aware for the remainder of your Sunday. The storms should push out by around 3am tomorrow morning and we should stay mostly dry however a few isolated showers can’t be ruled out.
