Clinton seniors help Make-a-Wish girl’s dream come true

CLINTON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – One little girl got the surprise of her life on Wednesday with a customized dream playhouse thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and a group of Clinton High School seniors.

The idea started a little less than a year ago. Hayden Wolfe, a senior at Clinton High School, said he wanted to make an impact before he graduated.

“It was just me willing to have a great senior year and going out with just a like a footprint, leaving a footprint behind. And just remember my name to be just a light in the school,” he said.

Officials with Make-a-Wish said they received a call out of the blue with a determination to make it happen.

“Well, they just called us out of the blue and wanted to do this. And they had this plan to raise enough one wish, and they got a lot more people involved. People caught their passion for it. And I think they ended up raising enough for two wishes and just made us feel wonderful,” said Jane Walsh, a coordinator.
