First Alert Forecast:

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The weather should clear up this weekend and we’ll have some nice weather for the Jackson St. Paddy’s parade Saturday. Sunday looks just as nice under partly sunny skies with highs both days in the upper 60s and lower 70s with sunshine. A stronger storm system may usher in heavier rain and storms Monday night or early Tuesday. We currently are under a slight risk for severe weather from The Storm Prediction Center, which ranks us a 2 out of 5, with 1 being the lowest risk. Instability is still questionable, but a squall line looks like it will move through with at least very windy conditions. Hail is possible too, and a tornado cannot be ruled out. The average high and low this time of year is 71 and 48. Sunrise is 6:59am and the sunset is 7:14pm.
