Mississippi man killed after 4-wheeler crashes into tree late Monday evening

A 21-year-old Mississippi man was killed Monday night after a 4-wheeler crashed into a tree.

The Natchez Democrat reports that Jordan Sanders, 21, of Natchez, was riding a 2023 Polaris 4-wheeler, veered off the roadway and then crashed.

The accident occurred around 10 p.m. on Tate Road. Sanders was rushed to Merit Health Natchez, where he succumbed to internal injuries caused by blunt force trauma to his head and chest.

Adams County Coroner James Lee said he was praying for the family and called the accident “a terrible tragedy.”

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
