Vote for Mississippi boys high school athlete of the week Oct. 7-12

There were several top performers across the state in boys high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Oct. 7-12.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Nominations

Trevon Alexander, Jim Hill: Alexander produced 256 passing yards on 13 completions with five touchdowns and two rushes for 35 yards in Jim Hill’s 30-14 win over M.S. Palmer.

Garrison Davis, Holmes County Central: Davis recorded 354 passing yards with six touchdowns in Holmes County’s 40-6 win against Greenville.

Austin Morgan, St. Andrew’s Episcopal: Morgan recorded 22 tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss in St. Andrew’s 34-6 loss to Pisgah.

Major Quin, Jackson Prep: Quin had two interceptions, including a 31-yard interception touchdown, three receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown in Jackson Prep’s 56-10 win over Presbyterian Christian.

Samuel Stockett, Madison-Ridgeland Academy: Stockett completed 17 passes for 284 yards and four touchdowns in MRA’s 44-35 win over Hartfield Academy.
