Vote for Mississippi girls high school athlete of the week Oct. 14-19

There were several top performers across the state in girls high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Oct. 14-19.

Fans may vote in the poll BELOW one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Nominations

Saylor Fletcher, Purvis: Fletcher recorded 19 kills, six digs and one ace in Purvis’ 3-2 win over New Albany in the MHSAA 4A state volleyball championship.

Sofia Gonzalez, Lake Cormorant: Gonzalez recorded 11 kills, seven digs and four aces in the Lake Cormorant’s 3-0 win over Hancock to win the MHSAA 6A state volleyball championship.

Taylor Henley, Our Lady Academy: Henley recorded 15 kills, 14 digs and four blocks in OLA’s 3-1 win over Belmont to win the MHSAA 3A state volleyball championship.

Anna Impastato, Jackson Prep: Impastato scored two goals in the MAIS 6A girls state championship game to lead Jackson Prep to a 3-0 win over Jackson Academy.

Kaia Robinson, DeSoto Central: Robinson finished first in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the MHSAA State Championship swim meet.
