JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Four local leaders have been implicated in a major bribery scheme that began more than a year ago. Last week, Jackson Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, Ward 6 Councilman Aaron Banks, and Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens all pleaded not guilty in federal court to a litany of charges related to the scheme.
