A hit-and-run accident in Jackson resulted in the death of a pedestrian, according to Jackson Police Department. Sunday at approximately 8:30pm JPD responded to the intersection of Raymond Road and Ellis Avenue regarding an Accident with Injury. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the incident to be a Hit and Run which resulted in a pedestrian fatality.
