Pretrial conference set for next month in Jackson bribery case

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The filing schedule has been set for three local leaders charged in connection with Jackson’s latest bribery scandal. Last week, Chief District Judge Daniel Jordan scheduled a pre-trial conference for December 19 in U.S. District Court, just weeks before Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, Ward Six Councilman Aaron Banks, and Hinds County District Attorney Jody Owens are set to go to trial.
