JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Good afternoon, everyone. We now face dangerously cold conditions across much of central Mississippi. We have issued another First Alert Weather Day in response to today’s expected frigid temperatures. Highs will remain in the 30s throughout the region, with most areas seeing upper 30s and low 40s. However, with winds gusting up to 20 to 25 mph, the wind chill will make it feel like temperatures are mid-20s to low 30s.
