Severe weather is moving into Mississippi with a high risk of violent tornadoes, destructive winds and giant hail on Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service in Jackson , a strong weather system is expected to bring tornadoes and in the area of High Risk, those tornadoes are expected to be violent and long-tracked. Violent tornadoes are classified as EF4 or EF5 , the strongest of tornadoes, and can produce wind speeds of more than 200 miles per hour.
