MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – earlier this week, several area students were honored at the Promote the Vote awards ceremony in Jackson.
Promote the Vote is an art contest hosted by the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office.
The contest asks students in grades 6 through 12 to submit artwork that represents Mississippi’s natural beauty, and for students in grades 3 through 5, the theme “This land is my land” was assigned.
