FLORENCE, Miss. ( WJTV ) – An elderly couple escaped from a mobile home fire in Florence.
Brian Grantham, the director of Emergency Management for Rankin County, said the fire occurred at a home on Monteigne Street around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28.

When firefighters arrived at the location, they found the home fully involved. Grantham said the fire was contained in the living room of the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
