JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – We have a First Alert Weather Day for tonight into Monday morning. A cold front dropping in from the northwest will meet up with warm, humid air off the Gulf. Much of our viewing area is in a level 3 out of 5 risk. Threats include Damaging 70 mph wind gusts, large hail – the size of hen eggs, and tornadoes. Impacts could begin as early as 10 or 11 this evening in the Delta. Storms spread across the Jackson Metro between 1am and 4am. That timing coincides with our tornado potential model.
