Reed honored by Mississippi Senate

The Mississippi Senate recently issued a resolution congratulating Dr. Steven Reed of Southern Eye Care of Clinton as the first Mississippian to lead the American Optometric Association (AOA).

“It is with great pride that we recognize an outstanding Mississippi health care provider who has brought honor to his profession, his community, and to the State of Mississippi,” read the resolution.

Throughout his thirty-year career, Reed has been committed to educating the public on the need for comprehensive eye care, beginning with eye screenings for students in Simpson County schools. He is also a participant in the InfantSee program that provides no-cost, comprehensive eye assessments for infants six to twelve months of age.
