UTICA, Miss. (WLBT) – It was a walk for a cause as families from across the town of Utica, Mississippi joined together to raise awareness and support the autism community.
One of the walk’s organizers, Jordan German, said, “This event all started with talking about the needs in the community from one of our own special education teachers in the district, or in the county, and myself being a resident and from this area. And so really we wanted to do something for a specific type of students and their families.”
