Judge denies bond of man accused in double homicide on McDowell Circle in West Jackson

A Hinds County judge denied bond for a man charged in a double homicide that occurred Sunday in West Jackson.

Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said police received a call around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of McDowell Circle in reference to a disturbance reported at the provided location.

According to Wade, Jarvis Anderson, 36, got into a “disagreement” with 33-year-old Carey Frost at a home. Wade said Anderson shot and killed Frost, who is a white male, before fleeing to a home next door to “hide out.”…
