RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Pinelake Church broke ground on a new chapel facility at its main campus in Rankin County on April 9.
According to church officials, the chapel will serve as a dedicated space for weddings, prayer gatherings and worship services.
“This is really us saying to our church family, we’re together, and we want the community to be a part of our faith family, as well. We’re here for you. And so, this is a promise kept that was made many years ago. But it’s a promise kept today to say that the vision is to see us, as families walk together through great and difficulty,” said Dr. Chip Henderson, senior pastor and primary teacher at Pinelake Church.
Construction on the chapel began after the groundbreaking ceremony. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.
