JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Saturday, there will be a chance for scattered showers with a few embedded thunderstorms during the first half of the day, but conditions will clear into the afternoon and evening. Clear skies overnight will allow temperatures to cool to the lower 50s as we head out the door Sunday morning. Sunny skies will prevail throughout the day tomorrow. Highs for both weekend days will be in the mid-70s. It will also be breezy at times as the drier air drifts in.
At the beginning of the next week, mild conditions will stick around. Highs will warm to the upper 70s or low 80s and stay there as more rain and storms push in by mid-week.
