PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – Saturday was day one of the MHSAA State Track Meet at Pearl High School, and one long jumper had all eyes on him.
The best of the best from 5A, 6A, and 7A schools from all over Mississippi came to Pearl to compete for a chance to receive a medal and stand on the podium. The metro was well represented with athletes in almost every single event. Those same metro athletes also took the top podium in almost every event, with results now being posted online.
