JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – Law enforcement executives gathered for a luncheon on Friday to discuss crime and issues within their departments.
The law enforcement agencies in the Jackson-metro area meet monthly to discuss crime within their communities. Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said he’s worked to rebuilt relationships with other agencies.
“There were a bunch of fractured former relationships. They did not exist. I had to rebuild those relationships, and now, we’re breaking bread with the colonel of the Highway Patrol, the colonel of Wildlife, Fisheries, Capitol police chief, all these chiefs who want to work with Jackson PD to address crime. Because as Jackson goes, the whole state of Mississippi goes,” Wade said…
