Isolated thunderstorms possible on your Mother’s Day afternoon

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) –Today: Sunday morning started off with overcast skies with little to no rain. Breaks of sunshine are possible throughout the day, with scattered thunderstorms forming to our east in the afternoon. This will allow temperatures to warm into the mid- to upper 70s for the high. There is an isolated chance for large hail or strong wind gusts with these storms between 2 and 10 p.m. Keep an umbrella or rain jacket handy just in case for your Mother’s Day plans.
