JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Scattered showers are expected over the next few days, with the potential for stronger storms increasing as we approach the weekend. Some of these storms could be intense, bringing damaging winds, flash flooding, and hail.
Heat stress will also become a growing concern. Temperatures will steadily climb, with “feels-like” values reaching the upper 90s to low 100s across the region.
