JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – We are having some extraordinary traffic problems in Jackson because of the construction on I-55 over the Pearl River.
On I-20 eastbound, there is only one lane of this traffic that actually gets all the way through to eastbound I-20 and northbound I-55. There is a major bottle neck in the area.
After you’ve been creeping along for 15 or so minutes, there is the temptation to hop the white lines and take off in an empty lane on the right. Only, these aren’t traffic lanes, and merging traffic coming into this lane on the right won’t even look back to see if anything is coming, because there isn’t supposed to be anything there…
