JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) in Jackson held a ribbon cutting on July 8 for its new interactive exhibit, May Belle the Cow.
May Belle is a life-sized, hands-on exhibit that teaches children about dairy farming, agriculture, and nutrition. The exhibit was funded by The Dairy Alliance (TDA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting dairy across the Southeast.

“Dairy farmers in Mississippi are committed to investing in their communities, ensuring that children and adults of all ages understand where their food comes from,” said Janna Williams, of The Dairy Alliance. “Through initiatives like the Mississippi Children’s Museum’s May Belle the Cow exhibit, they help foster a love for agriculture and highlight its vital role in our towns, economy, and way of life.”
