JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A new testing study has come out that shows an alarming number of restaurants are marketing their shrimp as U.S. wild-caught shrimp when they are actually imported.
From June 23 to 26, SeaD Consulting—commissioned by the Southern Shrimp Alliance—conducted scientific genetic testing on shrimp dishes served at 44 seafood restaurants across Jackson and surrounding areas.
