Jackson Gears Up for Historic National Folk Festival Debut

JACKSON – Jackson’s getting ready to make history, and two Mississippi powerhouses are helping lead the way.

Jackson is set to make history as the first Mississippi city to host the National Folk Festival. The traveling celebration of American roots and folk culture will call the capital city home for the next three years, starting November 7–9, 2025.
