‘God put us there for a purpose’: Man witnesses, gives aid following alleged Warnock suicide attempt

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – James Bailey and his son, J.J., almost didn’t go fishing on Wednesday afternoon.

“We were running late. We should have been there a couple of hours ago. I actually went in my office and was going to do some work and mow the yard… and something just kept tugging and tugging. And I believe the Spirit led me to do it.”

Bailey was the first person to stop and help after Rudy Warnock wrecked his Ford F-150 along I-20 near Pelahatchie…
