MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – Engineers hired by Madison County Supervisors are moving forward with plans to expand Yandell Road from two lanes to five lanes.
But the project is expected to significantly impact dozens of properties and reshape the landscape of a once-rural area. The expansion will require acquiring at least 30 feet of additional land, according to presentations engineers gave to Madison County Supervisors Monday, bringing the road considerably closer to existing homes.
