RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Rankin County deputies released new information about their investigation into a shooting in the Star community and identified the victim as the brother of the female suspect.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of Eddie Williams Drive before 9:45 p.m. on July 16.
Investigator Tyler Burnell, with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) in Jackson where he remains in stable condition…
