JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Some crime victims in Jackson say more must be done to support survivors.
A meeting held on Friday evening is part of a nationwide tour with community leaders and crime survivors in Jackson.
The group, Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice, says many victims are not aware of the compensation programs that offer help in a variety of things, from funeral expenses and lost wages to counseling services.
