JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Saturday began with fairly mild temperatures in the mid-70s, and this trend continues into the afternoon. High temperatures will reach into the lower 90s, limited by scattered showers and storms in the afternoon.
Temperatures will start to climb again on Sunday as rain chances subside. Highs will warm back into the mid-90s by the end of the weekend, and the upper 90s to near 100 at the start of next week. This is due to high pressure moving into the area. Since humidity will remain high, it will FEEL more like 110-115 degrees again for most of next week.
