A 22-year-old Jackson man has been arrested and charged with multiple serious offenses after a juvenile girl was brought to the hospital with a gunshot wound on Thursday evening.
According to the Jackson Police Department, officers responded to Merit Health at approximately 5:13 p.m. on July 24, after receiving reports of a shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a female juvenile who had been shot in the lower abdomen.
