JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The 51st Annual Jackson Music Awards filled the Westin ballroom with iconic musical figures from Mississippi and surrounding southern states.
On Monday, Vick Allen, Big Yayo and Calvin Richardson were among those who were honored with awards. Jackson Mayor John Horhn and the City Council granted the Jackson Music Awards with a $25,000 donation to further their impact within the capital city.

The event also recognized the voices of radio hosts, including two-time Stellar Award Winner Tracy Bethea.
