JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Residents at Blossom Apartments in Jackson are still searching for answers nearly a week after their water was unexpectedly shut off.
Since then, tenants said they’ve had no communication from property management and no timeline for when service will be restored.

With no running water in their units, many residents have been forced to collect water from nearby outdoor sources. For elderly or disabled tenants, that’s not possible.
“They are having a hard time over here. Half of us here are disabled. But I go and help my neighbor because she really can’t do anything. She’s 80 years old. What can she do? It’s hard for her to pick up buckets. It’s hard for her to get water jugs. If they hadn’t gotten the water cut off, we wouldn’t have to go through all this. We are having a hard time right now,” said one tenant…
