Jackson continues to grapple with state’s Open Carry Law, youth violence

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade says the state’s Open Carry Law continues to have a detrimental impact on the capital city, but finding a way to counter that impact has been a challenge.

Wade spoke to the City Council on Tuesday, after he responded to a question from Ward Three Councilman Kenneth Stokes.
